Virtual Doula Support
A doula is a person who provides birthing people and their families with informational, physical and emotional support as they navigate the birthing and postpartum journey. We offer you virtual doula care so that we can be there to support you at home and/or in the hospital during your birthing experience via phone or video call.
We make it easy to access doula care no matter where you are located or how many people are physically able to attend your birth (often physical birth support is limited due to Covid-19 continuously changing hospital or midwife protocols). Let us provide you with stability and consistency in an ever changing birthing environment.
Consistent, Continuous Care
Birth is a huge event and we are there for you from start to finish. Labouring at home while you wait for the midwife to come or until you can meet your practitioner at the hospital? We’ve got you covered. Heading to the hospital and trying to access comfort strategies in transit? We’ve got you covered. Moving from one position to another and breathing through one contraction at a time? We are right there with you, helping you and your birth partner to stay calm, focused and feeling supported. We truly believe that birthing can be approached as a team, and we are cheering for you every step of the way. We provide continuous emotional support throughout your birth. You may have different midwives, nurses, doctors or medical staff coming in and out of your birthing situation with various roles. We will stay with you throughout birthing and our only role and focus is to be there to support you.

The emotional aspects of birthing affect the physical, as proven through the fear-tension-pain cycle. Whether you are birthing alone or you and your partner would feel more comfortable with support, we are here for you. Birth can be tackled one moment, or one contraction at a time. You’ve got this and you are not alone. Through breathing, relaxation, position and comfort measures support, we are in it with you.
